Leacree Complete Strut Assembly

My hubby is a mechanical engineer. He has had collected a lot of tools over the years that he needed for the projects that he worked on but I have never seen any leacree complete strut assembly neither did I seen one before. According to my research, the leacree complete strut assembly comes with everything you need to replace your struts. It comes with boot kit and bumper, coil spring, upper and lower isolators, strut mount bearing plate and upper spring seat all pre-assembled. It means that by having them pre-assembled, you don’t have the need of a spring compressor. Each strut assembly is made for your specific car to ensure proper fit and improvements in handling and braking.

Mama Loon on the Lake

nullnullnull

I found this mama loon on the lake yesterday when my hubby and I went fishing at a nearby lake. Loon is an aquatic bird. The common loon, is more at home in the water than on land. The loon is actually Minnesota’s state bird. This loon looks like nesting. She stayed still when my hubby and I circled around her doing some fishing. That is why I was able to take a good picture of her. She lets me came close to her.

NOMORERACK.COM

nullI am thinking about buying a new camera. My hubby bought me a digital camera before my trip to the Philippines last year but I recently found out that it is missing some key features that we wish we had. The camera is still in good working order but my hubby suggested that we buy a new one before taking our next trip abroad this fall.

We are both leaning towards buying a DSLR. I went window shopping at nomorerack.com and I found this Canon EOS 7D 18 MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera with 3-inch LCD for $1799.00. Its retail price is $2199.00 so that is an 18% savings.

I am not rushing to buy a new camera because our trip is still a long way off. The price might drop in the next few months so I will wait and see. I still have a camera that I can use in the meantime. I will be planning to buy a DSLR camera on Black Friday just before we leave on our trip.

If you are looking for good deals on things you need, you should check out nomorerack. It’s a place where you can find insane deals everyday on name brand clothing, electronics and accessories. I haven’t bought anything from them yet but I found out that you can get free products for referrals. It means that the more friends you refer to sign up at nomorerack, the more deals you can get for yourself.

Sight Seeings in Cebu

nulloverlooking Cebu City

nullkite flying competition

It was my second time around when my hubby and I stopped at the Chinese temple in Cebu. The first time I visited that tourist spot was during my field trip in college. The first picture was taken at a beautiful Chinese temple that overlooks the city. I wanted my hubby to see that place so we told our driver that would be our next stop. On the way to the temple we ran across a decorative kite flying competition and decided to stop there for a while. Some of the kites were quite beautiful and amazing. The wind was just perfect for the occasion. We had a very enjoyable tour that day before we went back to my home island.

Kids Bedding

My sister and my brother in-law will be moving to a much bigger apartment in a few weeks. My niece will be turning three so she needs her own room and they are also planning on having a second baby soon. My sister has been busy packing some of their stuff and she has also been doing some furniture shopping. Along with furniture shopping, she will be doing some girl baby bedding shopping. I was chatting with her a few hours ago and she was anxious to get started on their furniture shopping. She asked her daughter to wake up her father and this was what my niece told her dad “wake up little Suzie, wake up”. That was so funny that when I told my husband he cracked up :-) .

Good Fishing Trip

nullnullMy hubby caught a lot of fish today. He caught a couple of crappies and perch which will be enough for our supper tonight. The walleye had to be thrown back into the water because the season for it is not opened yet. This weekend we will be able to catch them and they are really good to eat. My hubby also caught a northern pike and a bass. I only caught one fish and that was a bass.

First Fishing Trip of the Season

nullmy hubby’s second fish of the season, a northern pike

Our friend Wayne, my hubby and I went to the lake today. The fishing season opener is still a few days off but we decided to go out to see if the fish had started biting yet. The water is still a little bit cold for the fish to start biting yet but all in all we did not do badly. We did not expect that we would catch anything but fortunately we did. It looks like we will have a good fishing season this year. We put all of the fish back into the water right away. The only fish that we could have kept were crappies and pan fish. The fishing trip was encouraging though the water was cold and the fish are just starting to bite. In another week or two, depending on the weather, they should be jumping in the boat.
